When you agree to hire a van through our website we collect the personal information you give us which is your name, address, email and telephone number.

When you fill out our pre-hire agreement form on our website we collect the personal information you give us which is your name, email, along with any data that is used for your ID verification check such as details on your driving licence and other items that confirm your address.
When you browse our Website, whether or not you are registered, purchase a product or register to receive our emails, we will collect user information such as your location, language, assumed gender, IP address, when you visited our Website, how you arrived on our Website, where you visit after our Website, the pages you visited, how long you spend browsing individual pages on our Website and the browser (where applicable) and the device you used to access our Website.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to pay for your hire or your damage deposit, then Stripe (our dedicated supplier for payment processing) stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary for your hire and all direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service.

We may use your personal data in the following ways:
- To fulfil your hire of one of our vans.
- To provide you with services you request from us
- To register you on the Website or App (where this involves setting you up with an account, we will use your personal information to maintain and update your account (e.g. such as a change of address or change in your marketing preferences)
- To inform you of any changes to your Hire
- To keep in touch with you regarding the process of your Hire and to contact you pre-hire with regards to signing agreements and collecting balance payments and damage deposits.
- To process payments and prevent fraudulent transactions (we may pass your details to a third party to carry out these functions)
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
If you are subscribed to receive our marketing emails you will only receive a maximum of 1 marketing email per week
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
We store and use your data only when you have given us consent to use it.
We will not keep your personal information for any purpose(s) for longer than is necessary and we will only retain the relevant personal information that is necessary in relation to the purpose.
